Friday 21 March 2025 | 07:30 AM

Robina
A first-of-its-kind conference in Australia bringing together the legal community, healthcare leaders, caregivers and policymakers.

This conference has a primary focus on better understanding the significance and impact of trauma, complex trauma and vicarious trauma on lawyers, clients and other legal professionals.

Delivering leading and expert education and information for best trauma-informed practices. Cultivate understanding and empathy for improved mental health care and trauma informed practices for the legal profession.

Trauma informed practices contribute positively and significantly to the mental health of individuals, families and carers, by fostering environments that prioritise safety, trust, empowerment and cultural sensitivity.

Gain an understanding of the stress response system, how it connects the mechanisms activated by trauma, and how emotional and behavioural responses are relevant to mental health presentations.

The aim of this conference is to propel reform and enhance mental health and wellbeing throughout the entire legal profession for better case outcomes, reduced vicarious trauma and improved systems for all involved. Meet and network with leaders and experts in law, medicine and education, foster a resilient and empowered community, collaborate and raise awareness for better mental health in law, improve client relations and claim Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
