Sweet Thunder Big Band provide a fabulous evening of jazz and swing music.

The orchestra draws its membership from the best musicians on the Gold Coast. They specialise in great swing standards, using such greats as Duke Ellington and Count Basie for inspiration and reviving great songs from great composers such as Quincy Jones, Benny Carter and many others.

With a unique repertoire, exceptionally tight ensemble playing and no less than nine accomplished soloists, this hugely experienced and energetic band is not to be missed.

So, dust off those dancing shoes and join us for a night of that sensational Big Band sound!

Doors open at 6pm, concert commences at 7pm. Bar and bistro available.

Presented by the Gold Coast City Jazz Club. Concerts are held twice monthly, usually on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
