When objects become old or oxidised over time, they rust. In patina technique, this rust and oxide is implemented with acrylic paint on new objects.
In this workshop, you will be using acrylic paint, stencil, clear varnish and plastering powder.
At the end of the workshop, you will have your own piece of art that will be part of an exhibit at the Robina Community Art Gallery in August, organised by Gold Coast Multicultural Arts Gold Coast (GCMAGIC).
All materials and tools will be provided. All ages welcome.
Parveneh Madini is a Gold Coast-based artist who has expertise in the patina artform.
