The Nautique WWA Wake Park World Championships brings together the sports most decorated athletes from across the globe to represent their respective countries at the Gold Coast Wake Park. A place where riders of all ages, and skill levels have the opportunity to compete at an elite level in search of the elusive and coveted World title.
Wake park wakeboarding, also known as cable wakeboarding, is a variation of traditional wakeboarding where the rider is pulled across the water not by a boat, but by an overhead cable system. This system runs along a course in a man-made lake or lagoon, often filled with various obstacles like ramps, sliders, and rails, similar to a snowboard park. The cable provides a consistent pull, allowing riders to practice and perform tricks repeatedly without having to wait for a boat to circle back. It’s a great way to learn and progress in the sport, as well as experience a different style of riding with its own unique challenges and opportunities for creativity.
With athletes of all levels competing, you'll witness both the raw talent of up-and-coming stars and the mind-blowing mastery of seasoned professionals!
