Join our marine biologists from Dolphin Research Australia as we discover marine macroalgae. the foundation for many coastal and marine ecosystems.
Not only do marine macroalgae beautify our underwater landscapes, but they also play a crucial role in slowing down currents, removing excess nutrients and provide homes and food for countless marine species. They also help regulate methane emissions and offer sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.
Join us at this workshop as we complete citizen science surveys by exploring the biology and ecology of these amazing plants and learn how to identify the three main macroalga groups, green, red and brown.
