Learn about the importance of native fish in our waterways!

Watch a live native Bass fish release with the stocking of 36,000 fingerlings being placed into West Lakes, Robina that will help improve biodiversity and increase native fish populations.

This event includes displays where you can learn more about what makes good fish habitat ,how we can all play a part in monitoring our waterways, interactive waterbug activity and removing pest species such as Tilapia.

There will be an opportunity to help release some Bass fingerlings via bucket, pending stock availability, however the bulk of the fish will be dispersed on the day by the City.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER

  • Fish release is strictly suitable for ages 5 and above
  • Outdoor event near waterways
  • Full event location details are provided within confirmation email as you scroll down
  • We do not accept large group bookings

TICKET REGISTRATION

You must secure a spot for all participants attending. If you can't secure a spot you require at the time of registration please do not book. Event is set to a maximum capacity for WH&S.
