In this one-hour Masterclass, publishers James Layton and Dani Vee will guide you through the process of pitching your manuscript to a publisher. You'll learn how to grab a publisher's attention by mastering elements like themes, character development, and market appeal. James and Dani will share real pitch examples, showing what works and what doesn’t, and teach you how to hook your audience from the start. You’ll gain strategies to refine your pitch to align with the publisher’s brand and market needs. The session will also cover how to introduce compelling characters and ask the right questions. The Masterclass ends with the Pitch Party, where you’ll pitch directly to the Larrikin House publishers and receive immediate feedback on your manuscript.
