The Grant Writing is a 2 part workshop. Participants MUST attend both sessions (part 1 & part 2) to cover subject content.

In part 1 of this workshop series, participants will learn the basics of grant writing, perfect for beginners or anyone seeking funding for their next project. Workshop content is continued in part 2.

In part 2 participants will delve into project planning, budgets and support resources, essential knowledge for writing a winning grant proposal.
About the Facilitator
Olivia Everitt is a grant writer, arts worker and workshop facilitator based in Gympie, Queensland. Since 2013, Olivia has supported arts and cultural organisations, not-for-profits, local government and small to medium enterprises to attract millions of dollars in grant funding and sponsorships. Olivia is passionate about working with clients to support impactful cultural, social and economic development outcomes in communities across Australia. Olivia has been a national grants peer assessor with both Creative Australia and Regional Arts Australia. She holds a Master of Business (Arts and Cultural Management from Deakin University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) from the Queensland University of Technology.
Other Important Information
- The workshop will be held at Broadbeach Community Space located within the Broadbeach Cultural Precinct across the road from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
- We ask that you please arrive at 5:45 (15 minutes) prior to to start time of 6pm to allow enough time to sign in beforehand.
- Don't forget to bring a notebook and pen or laptop/tablet.
- Bring a jumper as the room can get chilly!
- Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
